Quins, owned by Bernie McKone* for over 25 years, is a long established pharmacy in Gore operating out of their pharmacy shop in Gore at 104 Main Street. Quins also has a presence in Invercargill, Waikiwi, Lumsden and Mataura.

 

As well as their physical shops, Quins operates an online pharmacy retail service under the banner NZ Health Delivery.

 

Quins came to McKone Consultancy in 2013 seeking specialist employment relations advice for reviewing and updating their individual employment agreements.  Quins had until this time been using the services of their generalist lawyer, however with changes that were happening in the employment law field felt it was more appropriate to get specialist employment relations advice for their employment agreements.

 

Through this contact McKone Consultancy was able to review and update Quins individual employment agreements to be compliant with legislation.

 

Since then Quins has called upon McKone Consultancy for regular employment relations advice, not just on terms and conditions but also for advice and guidance on dealing with issues when they arise in the employment relationship between management and staff.  This has enabled Quins to get sound practical and timely advice to help them maintain a postive and constructive relationship with their staff.
